John Deere Social Media Video

An uprising among farmers sprung from the release that John Deere would not allow any farmer to own his/her tractor due to legal limitations regarding their software. With spring around the corner, and many angry farmers turning to competitors, a corporate responsibility video was released to introduce a new software package and team of technicians that would allow farmers to legally own their tractors, and receive effective customer service. The campaign begins with a press release to introduce the concept to prospective customers, followed by the video that remains loyal to the John Deere aesthetic. The video would stream through social media networks and be hosted on John Deere’s homepage.
